I think students should be in school less than 8 hours to spend more time with family

I believe the amount of hours at school is appropriate due to standards, and meeting deadlines such as yearly tests. School is preparing you for the real world. Most job hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. That leaves the same amount of "family time" that school does. We all want more time with our family, but is it possible? Also, how may hours are you stating? Be sure to use correct punctuation!
