Pro

I personally think you should be allowed to have your backpack because students loose time at there locker and teachers get mad because students are late or need to use the bathroom in class.
BrendanLiam

Con

I accept this debate because you should not be allowed to take your backpack with you in school. Having to manage your time is an essential part of the learning experience.

Con

As I said going to your locker teaches you time management and makes it easier to rush in certain situations because it makes it routine. Going to your locker could also help you make friends with people with lockers close to yours because you would walk in very similar patterns throughout the schoolday.

Reasons for voting decision: Even though I personally agree that schools should be allowed to have backpacks, the con side had better arguments, such as using the locker for the "learning experience". The pro side couldn't back up his arguments, considering he forfeited rounds 2 and 3. Had he not forfeit, this debate could have ended differently. Unlike pro, con decided to back up his arguments, which was a wise decision on his part. Nobody used sources, so that's a tie.
