I believe school uniform should be mandatory because of identification and to have no fear on being judged because of the type of clothes you where or where you got them from. Individuality should shine through in a personality there is other ways to express yourself.
School uniforms should not be forced upon students, what happened to freedom of expression? Children are still citizens, they get rights. Freedom of expression is one of them. They should be allowed to pick what clothes they wear, from all black to bright pink and white zebra stripes.
Freedom of expression does not have to be through clothes. Do people have that dull personalities that they can not express themselves through their mouth? Also particular clothes may seem offending to different people would the brand Playboy really seem appropriate to wear to school?
Clothes are the best expression for a lot of people. There are people who have such a shy personality that clothing is the only way for them to express themselves. Everybody has a different personality, it does not have to be dull to be shy and closed up. Uniforms would only bring up that part of somebody. The kids will not stop wearing the "inappropriately" deemed clothes outside of school, so what difference does it really make?
