Should sexual education be banned from being taught in middle school? Why should it be banned? Why should schools be allowed to teach sexual education to preteens?

I accept. Sexual education should not be banned from being taught in middle schools.

I think that parents should be the ones to teach their children about sex. Kids aren't mature enough in middle school and elementary. That is another reason why parents should be the ones to teach their kids, it would probably be more comfortable for them. And if they have any questions they will feel comfortable instead of being uncomfortable asking the instructor.

Sexual education should be taught in schools. It is important for the individuals to understand the impact of sex on one's lives. It allows the children to understand the differences between the truths and the myths of this topic. Sex education can prevent the teenagers from wanting to "explore" the other gender by teaching the differences. This education could also curb the incidences of sexual child abuse because the children will be informed the difference between good and bad intentions.

Um every kid? I went to Middle School in the past ya know? And every kid there knew what sex was and talked about it. Hell even some of them were talking about crap like becoming a Trans-gender. Very likely that their parents didnt moderate nor care what their kids watched. Many kids in middle school were hooked on things like Porn and other ideas. The reason why Sex Ed would be good in Middle School is so they know not to be screwing around at such a young age and to know how easy they can get pregnant or diseases from others. So yeah, it would be good if it taught kids to use a condom instead of going raw. I knew of 6 girls in Middle School who were pregnant already. Some Sex Ed may have helped them there. Kids in Middle School are horn dogs who don't know what is healthy and safe compared to what is not safe. For example in Porn they have probably seen things like Anal, ect... However if they had Sex Ed they would know that is actually a very dangerous and harmful act. I mean its not like having a Sex Ed would make the kids have sex more. In fact it would probably do the opposite and teach them to be more cautious with who they bang. And don't say kids at that age dont do those things. They do.

@Stonehe4rt In the state of California school districts may provide comprehensive, age-
appropriate sex education from kindergarten through twelfth grade. My point exactly even kids in middle school don't necessarily have to learn about sex. The schools should teach them basic hygienic necessities and about puberty. Not about how to put on a condom properly. What child do you know talks about sex at the age of 13?

The only problem is, what if the parents neglect their children and dont teach them? Then how will they learn? Middle school is an acceptable time to learn as the kids are learning about their bodies on their own. So it would be good to have something to teach and guide them. However teaching this to kids below Middle School is just wrong. (One school wanted to teach 4th and 5th graders how to have sex. Like wtf is wrong with our world?)

I totally agree, but I think it would be better for kids to learn about sex from their parents and not at school

Its good to teach kids how sex works and how it can transmit diseases, they just shouldnt support Anal. (Because it actually causes more harm than good.)
