I think kids should be able to listen to music during study hall for several reasons. For example, it helps you focus, and can make you happy depending on what kind you listen to. Then, the happier you are, the better grades you get. Better grades means a better job with more money. So, what do you think?

I think that kids should not be able to for one if they turn on rock and roll how would you be able to focus and if your teacher is saying something important you wont hear the teacher and wont hear something important.

That is why teachers may give there own MP3 players that only have songs like classical music, or songs without words. And kids may be given the chance to choose certain songs, but that are also approved by the teacher. MP3 players may also be provided to teachers through fundraising.

OK OK but if kids have laptops they could upload any song they like onto the MP3 and some people would not like that music they have on there they would simply not use it and it would be a waste of money plus why would they use the fundraiser money on MP3 players when they could use it on equipment or pay the teachers more.

Most kids don't have laptops, or in fact the knowledge to be able to download songs on an MP3 player, and the money would be used to buy the MP3 players, and songs are already available for free for kids to choose.

what if the kids are so into the music that they do not pay attention to the homework and some schools provide laptops for kids and all you have to do to actually put the music on there is look it up online and kids could sneak there own MP3 players and have what ever music they want.
