rgoos

Pro

Students should take SRI so we can determine if they are reading at grade level or not so that interventions can be done to get them caught up if needed.

rgoos

Pro

Another reason students should take SRI throughout the year is to track their progress.

Con

Con

But we have other tests like the district assessments duh dur
rgoos

Pro

The district assessments show your proficiency in regards to a variety of Common Core Standards....it simply tells us if you are proficient at that grade level standard or not. The SRI places you on a range and shows how far above or below grade level peers you are; district assessments only tell us yes or no.

Reasons for voting decision: CONDUCT: Con is flawed making claims about pro escaping an asylum, however a forfeit is worse than a lame insult. S&G: While pro should have used more punctuation, however this area was no contest as con is clearly below the reading grade level for their age (not knowing the difference between they/their/they're, you/you're, invented words like "houldnt"). ARGUMENT: No contest, con only made assertions instead of any actual argument, a case with highlights of literally "your wrong" and pro is a retard escaped from an asylum (Ad Hominem attack, not related to the resolution). Con easily explained the importance of the test. SOURCES: None.
