I will argue that the U.S. military prison on Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (AKA: "Gitmo") is legal, constitutional, and an entirely appropriate venue for housing and prosecuting suspected terrorists. Protecting the American homeland is a priority, and the terrorists housed in Gitmo represent a unique threat that demands a unique solution. And the alternative is what, exactly? Bringing terrorists who hate Americans to the United States for trial? Sure, let's bring people who want to kill us closer to us so they can kill us more efficiently.
