I think that teachers should teach cursive because it is important, it will help kids later, it is fun and looks nicer. So please tell me what you think

Con

When educating children there are so many things we could teach. So we have to choose carefully what we teach.

While cursive does look nice if done right, most people's cursive turns out to be awful because most of us end up not using it very often. Print writing tends to be clearer and neater and that is one reason why it is taught first. Today, most of our writing is being done on computers, and less and less is being done on paper. So it is unnecessary to teach children more than one paper writing style.

What we really should be doing is teaching kids more math and science instead because they will end up actually using these skills to get good jobs.
