The United States should have Internet voting for all elections, local, state, and federal.
Internet voting has been used over 100 times all over the world - Canada, Switzerland, Norway, Estonia, India, and other places. West Virginia used it in 2010. In all these cases, there have been NO security problems. (DC had a problem, but that was a test, not a vote.) The convenience of voting online will raise turnout, and empower all sorts of folks who are now disenfranchised. This includes overseas Americans, such as those in the military, studying, working, missionaries, etc. Also, the housebound, disabled, travelers in the US, etc. There is no reason why voters should have to stand inline to vote, or take off time from busy schedules.

Though online voting may sound like a great, better yet, more convenient way to vote, this process is way to risky. We should not allow online voting because of the possibilities viruses, network failures and most importantly computer hackers may impose to this type of voting. I believe we should stick to the traditional way, where we provide the appropriate documentation and rid the fear of any mishaps so that our votes will go through smoothly and counted accordingly.
