There are many who want the age of 16 to be the minimum voting age. However, studies have shown that the mind of a sixteen year old is not yet fully developed. we do not want any rash decision making in our polls and so the voting age ought to be kept at sixteen

I believe that we should lower the voting age to 16.
Scientists say that the brain isn't fully developed yet, but do you really need a fully developed brain to have a belief? To want to help your nation flourish?

Be able to vote at a younger age may help get rid of biased views on politics. They might not even know what political party they belong to which is a pro because they won't follow parties just honesty and who they believe is the better person.

you may be right about that 16 year olds may vote depending on the person and not their favorite political party, but on the other hand, they may vote on first impressions and could even vote against a candidate just to make sure that that candidate will not be elected without knowing the platform in which the other party's candidate stands on. the 16 year olds are still students in high school and may have not learned enough yet to make a educated and fully informed decision. If you look at the countries that allow voting at the age of 16, you will find that most 16's wont vote and do not care. why should we allow them to vote if the opportunity is given then not used?

many bills have unforeseen problems after they are passed. what kinds of problems do you think this could cause? also, who would support this bill? not the majority of 16-year olds and thats for sure. if the majority did approve, then this would most likely be a bigger issue in congress. im not saying that this will happen, but if the voting age is lowered, then wouldnt petitions about lowering the minimum age for allowing alcholhol, sex, and smoking ages rise up?
