Yes it should be lowered because at the age of 16 you can get your license, pay bills, and get a paying job. Which means you would be mature enough to vote because you are already old enough to do all the other things mentioned above

I will assume Pro means the voting age in the U.S., though it doesn't matter too much. That being said, the voting age should not be lowered to 16.

Pro equates driving a motor vehicle and receiving/handling money with having a say in selecting the leader of a massive, powerful nation -- a person that Forbes ranks as the third most powerful person in the world. (1)

Pro's logic is that, since someone can flip burgers and push a couple pedals, they should be able to have a say in setting the course of history for the next four years by helping determine who willl lead a nation of 318,000,000 people.

I think we can clearly see that this is not a valid connection.

Moreover, the human brain --- specifically, the prefrontal cortex --- is not fully developed until the mid twenties (2). That means that anyone with a brain that is not fully developed still struggles to control impulse decisions, and finds it difficult to plan in order to reach a long term goal. Lowering the voting age to 16 would increase the number of voters (remember: they are selecting one of the top five most powerful people in the world) who, in general, have low impulse control and poor long term planning. That is exactly the opposite of what a voting citizen should be.

The only reason the voting age was ever lowered to 18 was because that is the age that one can be drafted, and people didn't like the idea of being able to be drafted for war without having a vote (3). To lower it further goes against common sense and science.
