Unhealthy food are the source of obesity in America. While they do create revenue it is apparent that the advertisement of unhealthy foods triggers the mind to go out and buy that bag full of chips. With relatively low attention directed towards servings size and health consequences the American people continue to devour foods that prove to be unhealthy for them. In this round on the debate I would like to emphasize 1. How obesity is deadly. 2. How advertisements for unhealthy products promote obesity. In young children and adults.

1. Obesity is deadly in various ways.
~Diabetes- Is the unregulated amount of glucose in the body. This can lead to damage to the blood vessels, nerve cells, leading to damaged eyes, nerves and kidneys and an increased risk of heart attack, stroke, impotence, and foot problems. [http://www.fountia.com...]

~Cancer- Is the reproduction of corrupted cells. Obesity can lead to certain forms of cancer that include but are not limited to breast cancer, colon and prostate. [http://www.ehow.com...] All types of cancer are deadly left untreated.

~heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, gallbladder disease, osteoarthritis and depression- All of these things also contribute to the overall affects that obesity has on the human body.

2. How advertisements for unhealthy products promote obesity. In young children and adults.

I believe that a law against the advertisement of unhealthy food would get more American children as well as adults eating healthy food which would in turn reduce obesity rates in America and lengthen the life expectancy. Also obesity can cause a lack of sleep and vice versa. Trapping you in an endless cycle of obesity. The average bag of Potato chips contains 1217 calories. This is prominently unhealthy for you and your children. The advertisement of it promotes the product and thus gaining weight and being trapped in it.
