I believe that torture should be used on terrorists. Torturing suspected terrorists could give the US insight to events that are planned or being planned (EX. 9/11, Brussels, and Paris). If you interrogate or torture survived terrorists to get events in planning.

HUMAN RIGHTS NO. 5. No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
FIFTH AMANDMANT https://www.law.cornell.edu...
One can remain silent during the interrogation

INNOCENT CASE

If someone is innocent why should they be tortured. If it was you you would sure want to be treated like a human being.

WELL TRAINED

If someone actually is a terrorist he is very likely well trained and have a strong drive to not talk be it good or bad (mostly bad)
But my point is that it would aconplish nothing in some cases.

WHAT YOU SAID

You pointed out how it would be convenient but not how it would be legal and or etichly correct. Ye lets beet prisoners up and lets start disregarding human rights.

END STATMENT

Such practices are unlawful and ethically incorrect.

Constitution doesn't apply if you're not an American citizen or a legal resident, or if you are on American soil.....GITMO prisoners can be tortured
