I thank Pro for creating this debate. However, they leave many questions unanswered.

  • How exactly would you differentiate "healthy" fast food from "unhealthy" fast food?

  • What would the warning label include? How do you define it?

  • What about non-fast food items that you consider unhealthy? Do you think they should also contain a warning label?

I am against the idea that we should be putting warning labels on any fast food items. I don't believe it will solve any of our obesity problems, and I consider it to be a waste of time and resources.

Eating anything in excess in unhealthy. And people know bad food is bad. People know the stuff at McDonald's is harmful but they eat it anyway. Having a warning label won't change anything. It will just make manufacturing more expensive.

Why should there be warnings on everything? How weak minded and feeble are people today? When you buy something that isn't healthy you know what you are buying. How is a warning label going to help anyone at all?
