Video gaming should be a sport. People say video games have no physical activity, but there are other sports that have no physical activity, such as poker. Another reason is because gamers that have come to the United States have gotten athletes visas, which is showing that gaming is slowly making its way into a sport. Both those reasons make very good reasons why gaming should be a sport

I thank my opponent, sad that he forfeited this round.

Sport: an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature, as racing, baseball, tennis, golf, bowling, wrestling, boxing, hunting, fishing, etc. (1)

This is the defintion of sport. A activity requiring skill, or physical prowess, and competitve. I think that video games to do resemble any of this, it does not requires skill(most video games) because you just use your hands. It does not do physical things, and video games some are not competitive.

Because video games do not resemble anything as a sport, vote for Con.

Physical Prowess

Video games do not contain this. All you do when playing video games. Sit down, play on your phone, or computer. This does almost no physical activity, making it not a sport

Skill

Video games do not need skill. Then that means beginners can never play, or be good. When baseball, or soccer, you have to be good to play a match. Also, you need a brain for sports. Video games, you just play, when soccer you have to think where aiming the shot, and the opponent's moves. Tennis, you have to have skill to put it in the best place, and not to far or close. Video games do not contain skill, or brain power used.

Vote for Con.
