Art- is the product or process of deliberately arranging symbolic elements in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect.

1.ELEMENTS- Video games arrange elements such as music, sound, environments, characters and many other things that go into video games. These elements are arranged in a way to make a finished product like a video game. There are many things that go into a video game just like a painting. You have to plan what the game will be about. Then you have to figure out what characters, objects and then a story to go along with it. A story board is hand drawn before the actual animation is done that alone should consider it art.

2.SENSES- Video games engage in many of our five senses such as hearing, seeing and feeling. When a gamer picks up a controller they feel the controller and the indentations in the joystick and buttons. The gamer sees characters in the game and hears dialogue that the characters speak.

3.EMOTION- When someone plays a game they sometime feel emotions. If there is an obstacle in a game that the gamer can't get passed, the gamer can get mad or frustrated. The gamer may feel happy or enjoyment in playing a game, because it is what makes them happy. The gamer may also feel a wide range of other emotions tide in with gaming.

4.INTELLECT- The ability to learn and reason; the capacity for knowledge and understanding. When a gamer plays a game they learn patterns, codes, item selection etc. The gamer also uses reason to make decisions in a game that may effect there character. The gamer also gaines knowledge of things in the game and over time has understanding of the components of a game.

You understand that you are on the "con" side. You are arguing the wrong point. If you had read the introduction, you would realize you are not arguing the correct thing.
