Videos replays should be allowed in baseball for several obvious reasons. Baseball, which is a game filled with fast action such as the stealing of bases, should be reffed with correct decisions. The ump might not be able to make correct calls during the game if vid. replays are not allowed and therefore bringing on fights between the fans, benchclearings, and the stained reputation of the ump who made the call. So for the sake of the ump's rep., and the peace and fun of sports, vid. replays should be allowed in not only baseball, but all sports.
Another reason for this is for the correct review of the players' skills. When scouts from other teams review a player's record, unfair or incorrect calls by the umpire can damage the player's column, giving the player a disadvantage.
Lastly, it can stop bribes from happening during the game. In big games, such as the Olpympics, or the World Series, rich fans or coaches bribe the umpire to make calls in favor to a certain team. To ensure that this fails, I believe the usage of video replays should be allowed.

Of course, I am aware of the usage of video replays in many sports and countries nowadays, but I just wanted to debate on it for the sake of leagues that don't. Please refrain from using the non-usage of video replays in certain leagues or sports as evidence to support your opinion.

It shouldn't because the games are already 4 hours long and if they used replays they would be 6 hours long and nobody would come to the games. Bad calls could simply be fixed by getting younger and more trained umps. Bad calls almost never stains the reputation of an ump. they all make bad calls once in a while. Scouts look at a players stats not the umpires calls.
