I know this is a weird debate, but I LOVE the color purple. 50% of what I own is purple.

Trust me, if you think this is weird, you are going to have a heart attack at some of the other debates. Yesterday, I saw a dog debate. Not as in a dispute about which dog is better, but the two debaters were just writing 'bark'. Anyways, welcome to Debate.org, or as commonly abbreviated, DDO.

In most serious debates, first round is acceptance, so this round I say I accept.

Lol thats messed up.

Con

Well, I was hoping for some arguments, but I'll continue anyway.

As we all know, heat is attracted to darker colors rather than lighter ones. In these cold, winter days, we want to feel warm. We should then pick the darkest color out there to wear: blacks.

I disagree. Black is a scary, dark color.
Rami

Con

Well, that's purely subjective. I have provided proof that there is a color that has better use than purple. Goodbye.

I mean, it's unlikely you're referring to his profile picture, because it doesn't have features that we would normally consider 'cute'. I assume you were talking to him as in face-to-face.

If I were the Pro side, I would argue that:

a) You could also feel too warm in extremely warm places.
b) There are also things called jackets, sweaters, etc.

I believe you should wear whichever shirt you want to wear, but if we should really be forced to wear certain colors, adapt to the situations by wearing what keeps you warm, but not too warm. Wear black shirts in the winter and white shirts in the summer.

Reasons for voting decision: Con states how we should wear the darkest color out there by saying that it attracts heat. The pro introduces how it is a scary color and leaves the heat point alone. Con refutes the scary color point by saying how that is subjective. Since the point on heat was not refuted, I vote con.
