Pro

We do not need a privet bank owed by the Rothschilds to be in charge of hour currency. We also do not need the fiat currency system.

Con

I accept. PRO is advocating for a substantial shift in the status quo, and thus has the ful burden of proof and must provide us with evidence for why the Fed ought to be abolished.

I'll extend the favor for PRO as he has the BOP. Hs opening statements were nothing mor than "we don't need X and Y." Though he is incorrect that the Fed is private and that its "owned by the Rothschilds," and the latter is nothing more than a conspiracy, neither of these constitute an argument, so I will nevertheless allow him to go first.

PRO has failed to meet his burden of proof, so you're voting CON by default. I will provide one argument at this time which will go unrefuted:

C1) The Fed ensures macroeconomic stability

We didn't have the Fed until 1913, and before that, we had banking panics every 20 or so years. Since then, they've been much less infrequent and the U.S. economy has been better able to stabilize employment, output, and inflation, especially since the 1980s when inflation expectations became far more anchored.

All PRO and people who agree with PRO can provide is unsubstiated conspiracy theories which have no basis in fact at all.

Vote CON.
