People shouldn't be prostituting themselves in a peaceful, formal, learning, and educational environment. School is a place to learn for the good future, not to become a stripper.

Dress codes restrict students from expressing themselves in the best way they can and unnessecarily restrict the freedom of the individual. In addition, dress codes allow students to learn social norms simply by the social atmosphere students exist in. Students will (or could) choose to abide by these social norms or express themselves appropriately even if it is outside social norm. This is realistic towards the real world view of society and should therefore be promoted. Students will not necessarily or even likely dress as "prostitutes" and is therefore a weak argument. Even so, the argument is still subjected to my argument on social norms. If school truly is about preparing students into entering society then it is appropriate that schools follows an atmosphere much like society.

Thank you.

Reasons for voting decision: Another 1 round debate... Con argued that dressing however you want to is a great personal freedom to have. Con also addressed the main argument Pro made (that not having a dress code will mean that everyone becomes a stripper), and refuted it cleanly.
