I believe, in this case you should vote for your particular race because they are one of your own and you must stick together with your race. Although, this sounds wrong, but I strongly believe that voting for your own race is less embarrassing than voting for your own sex.

You're asking we choose between racism or sexism? How about you vote for the person who you believe would make the best president?

Yes I'm saying that we should choose between sexism and racism because someday in the end this predicament might happen. For example, say if in 2012 a Caucasian female republican and a african-american male democrat are both running against each other in that case you would have to choose between the two and it may feel wrong but it is your choice.

You should not choose a president via racist or sexist criteria. There's nothing about the job or race or gender that makes any of that matter in the least.

In the given hypothetical of I suppose Ann Coulter running against an incumbent Barack Obama in the 2012 the race and gender would play no part of my decision, nor should it.

The differences in politics are such there's no room to quibble over nonsense like race or gender. There's almost no difference at all between race it's much bigotry invented wholecloth out of nothing. Gender is gender it doesn't really matter as far as quality of president goes.

Again, your asking for a choice between sexism and racism when the stark difference in policy is more than overwhelming.

Race in general is a social phenomenon. As far as genetics go there's very little difference between one human and another. The idea that you should choose a presidential candidate based on race or gender is an anathema to modern society. Racism and sexism have no valid role in politics. I will have such a naivet´┐Ż to assume it plays no role in the votes of people, but at the very least the more important things in political races are not the races but the politics. The fact that Jicuzi believes there is no other difference one could base their vote upon between a Republican who would continue to fight this war or a Democrat who would end would be amusing if it were not so sad. I voted for Barack Obama in the primary and if Hillary Clinton pulls out a win in the primary I'll vote for her. Not because I share some race or gender with the individuals but because I would far prefer a change in the political landscape over what we have endured for the last 8 years.
