Animals that are accustomed to the wild deserve freedom. Domesticated animals know how to act in a household, but wild animals can go crazy any minute. They don't know how to behave with people and they should not be blamed for harming people. If a person owns a wild animal and it attacks them, the animal should not have to be put to sleep. It is the person's fault for bringing a wild animal into their household. This in my opinion is animal cruelty.

Yes, many many animal species are becoming extinct due to human selfishness, so it allows certain species to regrow, and be released back into the wild again.

Not to mention, for the species that have plenty of animals in their population still, will not be affected by putting some in captivity.

Finally, most exotic animals are banned in countries around the world, so you won't have them biting or hurting people anyhow.

By "captivity," do you mean animals that are kept as pets or in zoos as well?
