First Round:Acceptance

So this is specifically Nintendo game I'm making text only 2,000 words, so just the basics and explanations, I don't see how rebuttals can be put in this topic but are allowed. I will say my game first, and if you like the same, say it in your acceptance round, and I will change. here is my video game:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl!
Acceptance must include YOUR favorite game and that's it

Con

That's disappointing. Regardless I'll go ahead and explain why Super Mario 64 is my favorite game (at the time I accepted, at least. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is getting very close to toppling it).

I never had an N64 as a kid, I had a PlayStation. I never played the game until around 2007, when I wanted to play Super Smash Bros. but didn't want to buy another GameCube (I had sold mine a while back to get a PSP). So instead, I bought a used N64, Smash Bros., and Mario 64 from GameStop. Even though I had grown used to Xbox-level graphics, I was still amazed and enthralled by Super Mario 64. Why? Well, it is a marvel on multiple levels. A pioneer in analog control, the game immediately made the previous PS1 controller with no analog sticks obsolete, forcing Sony to redesign their controller to include them. It demonstrated the need for precise analog control in a 3D world and did so through virtually flawless control. It also successfully transitioned platform gaming to the 3D world, showing how much more interesting and challenging the puzzles and jumps could be. The music was superb, with such tracks as Dire Dire Docks and Road to Bowser being among my favorite video game songs of all time. The graphics hold up surprisingly well - I'd even go so far as to say that, as an N64 launch title, they look better than any game ever released for the PlayStation. The terrain and level design lend themselves perfectly to exploration, which you'll need to do a lot of to find all 120 stars. There's simply so much to do that it feels like a real accomplishment to have collected all the stars. Overall, Super Mario 64 is everything a video game should be - a fun, great adventure that immerses and invests the player into the virtual world. The gaming industry would never have been the same without Super Mario 64, and it's impact is still felt to this day.

Don't really have an urge to debate the topic, but thought I would share. My favorite would probably be Track and Field II. The reason is that it was a game that took both me and my sister to play. I was good at some things and she was good at others. So we cooperated and there are a lot of positive memories. Blades of Steel, all the Marios and Slalom were all games that have strong positive memories. My Dad would play Mario, Slalom and Kung Fu with us.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct goes to Con due to the forfeits committed by Pro. Arguments goes to Con due to the lack thereof in the case of Pro's position. Con successfully presented an argument that, when met with no response by Pro, solidified the victory for Con.
