I am for less government control and more of a Jefferson approach. Con will try to prove that bigger government is better than smaller government. BOP is on both sides.

Round one -acceptance only. No rebuttal what so ever by con

Round two- opening argument(s)

Round three- rebuttal and further argument(s)

Round four- closing argument(s), rebuttal cross- examination, and further thoughts or comments.

I ask for only the best of conduct and wish my opponent the best of luck.

Personal freedom or security? Governments across the world and throughout time have tried to see what's in the best interest of their people or themselves. In today's American government we had become the bank's bitch. If we had a smaller government that did not tried to regulate and control everything people's personal freedoms' will not be question as in the want proof that in a bigger government takes away personal freedom look at the NSA scandal. In which if they were more of a local government we need not to fear the big -brother government that is slowly becoming everyday life.

Point 1: Smaller government people have a bigger say in their government.

Point 2: In larger government we will have less curroption.

Point 3: Less dirty money, less lobbying, = better government.

It has seemed that the contender has failed to post an opening argument so if he/she may want to still debate he/she may not open an argument but only refute my cases.

If no one else accepts I would love to accept on a different premise. You argue for a Jeffersonian government. I would like to argue anarcho-capitalism against that.

Yes could you be more specific because I am interested in this debate but like to know what I'm arguing for.

So I am inferring that you mean a minimalist government in the form that Robert Nozick has suggested is better than a huge totalitarian government?

The parameters are a bit vague. Big and small government are a little relative.
