Pro

Smoking is bad for your health. Smoking can cause live cancer and other problem that may not be good for your body to hold. People who smoke are more likely 90% of the time will die than people who doesn't smoke. According to the university of Harvard for Medical health, people who smoke will die 90% of the time than people who don't smoke. It bad for your health and is a risk taker for your body and people who love you.

Con

The topic says "Smoking" and my Opponent is pro. Yet his only statements regard the risks of smoking, which mean they actually support my side, Con, against smoking. No resolution has been stated thus far, and since the debate is titled "smoking" my Opponent must support it.

Also his logic is flawed in his statement of "People who smoke are more likely 90% of the time will die than people who doesn't smoke"-Everyone dies, not just smokers.

Pro

Yes it true everyone die. But it's really hard to die when u are healthy. Once you start smoking you are taking big risk to your life. Take a good look around people around you and now I want you to see people who smoke around you. People who don't smoke around you will seems to be much smarter and healthy than people who smoke around you. It's dangerous and a risk taker to your life.

Con

My Opponent continues to make my arguments for me. He apparently does not understand that he is affirming smoking and must support it.

Pro

The meaning of pro stand for positive. And con stands for Negative.

Con

"The meaning of pro stand for positive. And con stands for Negative."-I'm glad my Opponent understands this. This means that as the con, I have to show negatives for smoking and you as the pro must show positives. All you've shown is negatives.

=Voters=

Conduct- Put a tie, we both had good conduct.
S/G- My Opponent made a few mistakes, but not a whole lot so either vote for me or vote as a tie.
Sources-Tie, neither of us used sources.
Arguments-Vote for me, my Opponent hasn't provded a single argument supporting his side. All his statements have supported my side of the debate.

Reasons for voting decision: Van114 didn't know what his position is, and loses points of conduct for that...He had quite a few spelling errors. In addition, he argued FOR pro, giving Pro an easy, but unfortunate, advantage.

Reasons for voting decision: Con is incorrect in his assertion that Pro "must support" smoking because his first round argument clearly was against smoking. Con should have clearly realized this before accepting the challenge. However Pro simply ignored Cons statements and defeated himself. For that Con wins argument. Pro loses conduct for ignoring his opponent. Pro loses SG for mistakes.
