Should the government make it a requirement to have solar power equipment? If they should require it, should they give a reimbursement? If it were to become a law tomorrow, would you be ready for the change?

To begin I suppose I will start by turning your research question into a resolution, although this is typically done by the Pro. Since you entered the debate without any clear argument in your position other than a selection as Pro, I will merely state my resolution as Con and allow you to argue your first points.

Resolution: The United States government should not require its citizens to have solar power equipment.

Wasn't sure what else to do here. If the resolution is not favorable for you then we can enter a different debate and discard this one. Although, I made a "Boo Boo" by stating the resolve as con which would in turn make me pro. So consider my resolve to be what I am for if that makes since. If not then I am against the government regulation for solar energy.

your not taking up a position; your just asking questions to start a discussion, go to the politics or technology forum thread and start one on this if you just want discussion. This fails to qualify as a debate without clear resalution to defend or tear down
