 Pro Resolved: Capitalism is a superior economic system to socialism. Capitalism is defined by Hans Hermann Hoppe[1] as "a social system based on the explicit recognition of private property and of nonaggressive, contractual exchanges between private property owners" Socialism is defined as "institutionalized interference with or aggression against private property or private property claims." Superior means better than, be it in a moral, economic, or any other context within reason. Round one is for acceptance. Cases are presented in round two. ----------------------- Citations: 1. Reasons for voting decision: Umm... yeah. Anyway for the arguments I just voted on who had the best music and since the pro also had citations, I threw him the source points as well. If this was at an actual tourney, what debate format was it? I don't think I've seen a topic this blunt before.
