Trickle down economics does not work. If the federal government was to tax the wealthy at a higher rate, and give tax relief to the middle and lower classes, this would decrease poverty, decrease demand for welfare, and increase consumer spending. The top CEO's would benefit. More people would be able to afford to spend which in turn increases profit for business.

Taxing the rich isn't fair to them. How would you like it if you had a big slice of YOUR pay taken? Fact is, they make that money. I'm not selfish enough to take what's not mine. I'm not entitled to anything just because I'm a breathing chunk of biological organism.
