Thank you for taking your time to read through the rules, here is the debate.

Technology is classrooms is a beneficial addition to the curriculum and can help students learn in a new, fun and interactive way. Students can use educational games and apps to learn subjects the would otherwise despise. Students can also use technological programs to do things that are otherwise impossible, such as predicting weather(meteorology), graphing three-dimensional objects, and researching topics with much ease. As long as the students are responsible, and the school has limits to ensure safety, technology is a supplemental resource that should be used by all schools.

My opponent here is very worthy despite saying "technology is classrooms" which is bad grammar but instead of pointing out his flaws i shall point why there should not be technology in classrooms.

I am playing the con/against part and i think that the reason why there should be no technology in schools except for computers in a computer lab, there should not be technology in schools because school is there so then kids can learn and be successful in the real world. So to have technology it would be a slap to the face if your not allowed to have fun on them. Also there is always that one kid who does not understand the technology and always calls for help.On paper every kid can understand it and have a nice time. Also in the real world there will be many things that you will need the old classic pencil and paper.Like a job interview, test, security, signatures and security checks. If there were technology that also means that kids will be to invested and will do really bad things on there devices. If kids use technology more than the plain old pencil and paper that means that they will have to do everything on it also.Technology can also cause fires, many kids bring water bottles to school and if they were banned from bringing those parents will be devastated. Not ALL states have this but there are state test in some states. It will take longer than an ninety minuets to finish. It will also be very complicated and some kids have a higher advantage because they have electronics at home. But everyone has paper or at least something to right on.Not all families can buy electronics but they can buy a can of pencils and a ream of paper. Its only like $3.99 in total. That is my statement for being the con/against for technology in school.

The title of the debate isn't that great - it should be a statement, something like "Technology in schools is good for students". As it is now, it's far to ambiguous and could mean anything - ethics, usage, benefits, expense, types that should be used...

And why don't you just use a simpler format?

You could do it this way:

Round 1: Acceptance and Introduction

Round 2: Arguments

Round 3: Rebuttals

Round 4: Counter-rebuttals and Conclusion

If exceptional spelling and grammar are required, then why can I identify at least 2 errors in your post?
