Technology is making us lazier
Debate Rounds (2)
It's true that technology does make us lazier. It is also true that video games are beginning to replace outdoor activities. However, you need to better examine the purpose of technology innovation, which is to enhance the human race. There are scientists all around the world that have a goal to distance human beings as far away from what they consider "primitive". Just try going a day without TV, electricity, the computer you're looking at now, or a car. If you can see just how much technology has influenced your life, then you'll see that the pros far outweigh the cons. Besides, with advances in health and cures for diseases, the average life expectancy is increasing. So when it comes to being fat, unless you care about your appearance, health won't be that big of an issue down the road.
