Con

This law is nothing but harmful to Texan women. Not only is it degrading them as humans, it is taking away access to birth control, Planned Parenthood, etc. It is forcing women to have children.
Gordontrek

Pro

I gladly accept the debate and look forward to an informative discussion with youngliberal. I am assuming that the first round is for acceptance. If it is not, I shall simply say, in response to what Con said in opening: to allow anybody unrestricted access to such procedures, medicine and facilities denigrates the humanity of the young child in the mother's womb. In a society where "equal rights" is so loudly praised and touted, I am simply astonished that granting "equal rights to all" does not include unborn children.

I still eagerly await my opponent's argument.

youngliberal either refuses to argue or does not have an argument against the pro-life stance. Given this, I strongly encourage you to vote Pro. Contrary to the cries of the typical "pro-choice" crowd, laws such as this do not affect the woman's body. They are protecting the baby's body. Allowing women to kill unborn life at will is a disgusting affront to the humanity of unborn children, and accusing those who are pro-life of "wanting to take our bodily rights away" is a monument to the fallacious reasoning of the left.

I don't think liberals HAVE a good argument for abortion. =)

It appears that this is going to turn into another dud, unless youngliberal comes back with an argument.

"It's forcing women to have children"

Really? Who forced these women to have sex?
