I will be choosing Thanos the original with the Infinite Gauntlets and you will be using the "Green Scar" Hulk you will not be able to change your Hulk's form into any other future past or present other than the one I stated and I will not be able to do the same with Thanos. And no other person can intervene the fight.
The battlefield is:
A vast wasteland with no radiations to affect Thanos or Hulk
They start 200 feet apart

You may start
May the best debater win

-The Hulk of World War Hulk is a cunning and more powerful version than the previous incarnations, for he is the insanely enraged version of the "Gravage Hulk".
-His rage is at its most focused, due to meditation training by his ally Hiroim.
-This incarnation has extremely high durability (as if the hulk doesn't already).
-is a capable leader and strategist.
-Another source of the Green Scar's strength in comparison to other versions was his lack of inner conflict, if not alliance, with Bruce Banner.
-There were several instances where the Hulk and Banner worked together strategically, such as acting to disable Dr Strange.
-Green Scar's base level of strength was dramatically increased. He can lift well over 100 tons in a functionally calm emotional state.
-During a burst of unexplained anger from the Hulk in New York City, Professor X attempted to slow down the angered Hulk with intense power; however, the Hulk proved to be resistant to the Professor's psionic effects.
-The Hulk recently lived up to his "Worldbreaker" title by destroying a world from the huge amounts of gamma energy he was releasing (by accident) in the Dark Dimension in Incredible Hulk Part 4.
-Which shows the intensity of his power destroying a world just by the shear rage that caused gamma emissions from his body.
-The incarnation referred to as the "Green Scar" is the physically strongest of all the primary Hulk's incarnations.
-After being exposed to the energies from the exploding core of the ship that originally brought him to Sakaar, Green Scar's base strength level was dramatically increased. While in a calm state, this incarnation was able of lifting well over 100 tons. However, while in an enraged state, adrenaline surges through Hulk's body, magnifying his strength significantly above his base limits. Hulk's immeasurable strength is directly proportional to his level of rage, excitement, stress.
-The Hulk also grows stronger the more radiation and more dark magic he catalyzes.
-Among his most amazing feats are supporting a falling 150 billion ton mountain using leverage, ripping through a bunker designed to withstand the explosion of thousands of megatons in magnitude. closing the doors to a nuclear core that Thor and the Thing together could not budge.
Debate Round No. 1

By far the strongest and most powerful Titanian Eternal, Thanos is a superhuman mutant whose massive, heavy-bodied body was born with the capacity to synthesize cosmic energy for certain personal uses. Thanos has increased his powers through bionic amplification, mystical enhancement, and as a result of being resurrected by Death itself.

Fools taking up arms against omnipotence.
They rush head-on into Armageddon. So I shall provide them with a most glorious doomsday! The heavens will run red with blood. But in the end, as always, THANOS will stand triumphant.

So I will be dividing my debate into four sections:
Power and abilities, Infinite gaunlets/Weapons, Intelligence and Over all/The "Battle"

1st: Powers and Abilities
Immortality: Thanos, like all Eternals, is immortal in the sense that he is immune to all known diseases and infections and is immune to the effects of aging. Thanos was formely banned by Death itself from entering its realm, rendering him truly immortal. No matter the severity of any injury, Thanos was unable to die and completely recovered.
Thus rendering Thanos essentially Immortal.

Superhuman Durability: Before his "death", Thanos possessed an impressive degree of resistance to physical injury, even compared to other Eternals. After his resurrection, Death
increased his ability to resist injury to a much greater degree and he is nigh invulnerable. He has withstood at point blank range planet destroying attacks without any harm. He has withstood blows and attacks from beings as powerful as the Silver Surfer, and even Thor unharmed. He possesses such an incredible resistance to injury, he has been shown to survive point blank blasts from universal level entities such as Odin and Galactus.

enerative Factor: Despite his extraordinary durability, it is possible to injure Thanos. Like all Eternals, however, Thanos is capable of regenerating damaged tissue with much greater speed and efficiency than a human being. His healing powers aren't as developed as those of some Eternals. Some Eternals are capable of regenerating any destroyed tissue.

Superhuman Speed
: Despite his massive muscular bulk, Thanos is capable of running and moving at speeds greater than the finest human athlete.

Limitless Stamina: Thanos' musculature produces almost no fatigue toxins during physical activity. As a result, he has limitless superhuman stamina in all physical activities.
Yes Thanos may not be able to run as fast as the Hulk but he can't get tired.

Superhuman Strength: Thanos possesses vast superhuman strength the full limits of which aren't known. Death has increased his strength beyond their original limits to levels rivaling or surpassing those of the physically strongest Eternals. Thanos is one of the strongest beings in the Universe and is capable of lifting far in excess of 100 tons without any effort. Thanos' strength is so vast he has destroyed entire planets with the simple force of his blows. He has proven capable of fighting both Thor and the Thing simultaneously for an extended period. His strength reserves are so vast that with only a handful of blows, he has been able to beat the likes of the Silver Surfer to the brink of death. Thanos can augment his strength with his cosmic energy when needed.
Strength level: Class 100+

Superhuman Reflexes: Thanos' reaction time is enhanced to a level that is beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. Like his agility, his reflexes are about average for an Eternal.
As far as I know the Hulk's reflexes don't compare to a Eternals's

1st Powers and Abilities (Rebuttal)

Immortality (Thanos): While Thanos is considered immortal in the Marvel universe there is Technically no such thing nearly every "Immortal" has died in the universe, from The Beyonder to Death Itself! Thus this should not be taken as a factor as well When a character is Immortal it doesn't mean that they cannot be Destroyed (shown when the Beyonder destroyed death, then re-created him) example: The hulk tears Thanos in two and keeps the two pieces separate.

Durability (Thanos Vs Hulk): I believe that the viewers as well as I will agree that the Hulk has a superior advantage in durability. He was able to shrug off the Nova Blast from the Human Torch and continue fighting various other Superheroes. "The Torch can release all of his body's stored energy in one intense, omni-directional "nova-burst," which can reach about 1,000,000 F, and which is similar to the heat-pulse of a nuclear warhead detonation, with an area of total devastation of about 900 feet in diameter and the power of a super nova. (The Torch has claimed that he can destroy a small moon with his nova-flame.)" The Hulk as well was able to not only recover from but deflect Gladiator's Eye beams back into his eyes. "Gladiator is capable of firing highly concentrated beams of energy from his eyes. These beams are capable of reaching extremely high temperatures. The maximum temperature his beams can reach is unknown but they can reach temperatures hotter than that of Stars." He also managed to shrug off and retaliate just as quickly a beam shot by his son which apparently was just under the strength of Galactus.

Re genitive Factor (Thanos vs Hulk): In "Hulk The End" He loses his Stomach, Eyes, and much more and he regenerates all this in but moments, think about it the Hulk is the only living thing pretty much that these bugs can feed on yet they still continue to thrive.
I believe that the Hulk should be considered just as "immortal" as Thanos with a higher durability, keep in mind that this was done when the hulk was even older than the Maestro version meaning that he was not in his prime. The Hulk Thanos is fighting IS in his prime, the strongest primary incarnation. He has been shown when fighting his Son that he could regenerate whole limbs. When fighting Vector he lost almost all skin and muscle tissue on his body and grew those back in an instant.

Superhuman speed (Thanos vs Hulk): Hulk has a base level speed (not limited to as it increases with the Radiation coursing through the body) of 700mph while Thanos only exceeds an athlete. Hulk has been shown to be able to keep p with not in running but in Reaction timing with Quicksilver simply batting him aside. "Quicksilver is a mutant capable of moving and thinking at superhuman speeds. Originally capable of running at the speed of sound; exposure to the High Evolutionary's Isotope E made it possible for the character to run at supersonic speeds of up to Mach 5 and resist the effects of friction, reduced oxygen, and kinetic impact while moving at super-speeds. The character's speed allows him to perform feats such as create cyclone-strength winds; run up walls and cross bodies of water." Hulk has been shown to catch bullets and catch up with Airplanes.

Limitless Stamina (Thanos vs Hulk): The Hulk's body counteracts fatigue poisons that build up in his muscles during physical activity. In an enraged state, he is capable of exerting himself at peak physical capacity for several days before fatigue begins to affect him. However, much like his physical strength, the Hulk's stamina does increase as he becomes angrier. So I guess Hulk is pretty much limitless in stamina as well.

Superhuman Strength (Thanos vs Hulk): The incarnation referred to as the "Green Scar" is the physically strongest of all the primary Hulk's incarnations. After being exposed to the energies from the exploding core of the ship that originally brought him to Sakaar, Green Scar's base strength level was dramatically increased. The Hulk also grows stronger the more radiationand more dark magic he catalyzes. Finally, like Amadeus Cho explains, Bruce Banner subconsciously restrains the Hulk's full potential by quantifying the external variables so that Hulk does not hurt anyone. He corroborates this thesis with his analysis of all the Hulk's historical confronts However, in case of agreement of both, the Hulk can overcome this limitation.

Superhuman Reflexes: Read under speed that Hulk was able to react to Quick Silver one of he fastest known characters for speed.

The Hulk has no limit to Anything

I like how you provided a quote I too will provide one from the Hulk.

"Then why do you suddenly look scared? Maybe you see that you could be ten times stronger than Hulk, and it still would not matter. Not when all Hulk has to do is become ten times as mad!!"
-- Hulk

Debate Round No. 2

A circumstance, fact, or influence that contributes to a result or outcome. So it should be considered if it affects his or the Hulk's outcome. Say if he were a human he wouldn't be able to beat the Hulk but if he was kinda sort of immortal it would help him so it is a factor.

Also, in fact some of the argument you use is conceded into different versions of the Hulk not the Green Scar see the in fact it was the Incredible Hulk who took the hit from the Human Torch and it was the original Hulk who took the laser beam from Gladiator. So half of what you said is not true.

But overall in a fight Thanos would dominate.

And side note Thanos has a better regeneration factor and reflexes than that of the Hulk he is strongest Titan he took down his whole race for death and took on Eternity and beat the Avenger, Hulk, Thor, Silver surfer and Tyrant and Galactus. Like come on the Hulk lost to Thor and I know it's not the Green Scar but thier powers are close in size.;

Now for my second part:

2nd: Infinity Gaunlet/Weapons
First off the Infinity Gaunlet holds 6 soul gems even the great Living Tribunal declared it was to deadly. It's powers with them gems are:

Time Gem--Total control over past, present and future. Total control over all aspects of time including time travel; stop, slow down, or speed up flow of time; accelerate or slow down aging, see into past/future and can also be used as a weapon by trapping enemies or entire worlds in unending loops of time.

Space Gem--Travel through space, mostly through teleportation. Able to interfere with the motion of other objects. Allows the user to exist in any location (or all locations), move any object anywhere throughout the universe and warp or rearrange space.

Soul Gem
--Observe, attack, steal, manipulate and alter souls, living or dead. The gem is the gateway to an idyllic, pocket-universe. Also used to devolve artificial organisms back into a primitive state.

Reality Gem--Alters reality to anything the user wishes.

Power Gem--Virtually limitless strength, durability, and energy manipulation. This gem contains access to all power and energy that ever has or will exist, and can back the other gems and boost their effects. It allows the user to duplicate almost any physical superhuman ability and become invincible.

Mind Gem
--Virtually limitless psionic abilities including telepathy and telekinesis. Backed by the Power Gem, it is possible to access all minds in existence simultaneously

The Infinity Gauntlet granted virtual omnipotence to its wearer. Even the combined powers of beings like Eternity,Uatu, Lord Chaos, Master Order, Mistress Love and Sire Hate in the Marvel Universe, Kronos the Celestials,Death, and Galactus made up only a small fraction of the Gauntlet's power. The only known beings with power exceeding that of the Gauntlet are the Living Tribunal and the One Above All (Multiverse). When Thanos possessed the gauntlet his anger turned into a wave of energy that at 2% of its full strength caused the west coast of the United States and Japan to sink underwater, tidal waves on the east coast of the United States and caused the Rainbow Bridge to Asgard to shatter trapping Odin, Zeus and the other skyfather gods on Asgard.

Like come on Green Scar is good but Thanos amazing.

Correct, although while the immortality is in play it does not mean the immortality in which he can not die he comes back so if he were to die once this debate would be over because the hulk would have won (by killing him once). In that sense it cannot be considered a factor, it is simply what would happen after this debate is over.

This is extremely false, The Green Scar is That Hulk of the Future coming to terms with bruce banner and as i said before Green Scar is the strongest incarnation so everything i said was not only true but more advanced since that was all done by a weaker form of the Hulk.

What is your basis on this? After the last round I have already proven that Green Scar has superior Speed, Reflexes, Strength (Held a Black hole Core with his bare hands), and Regentive Factor (as Thanos was stated as being unable to regenerate any destryoed tissue while the Hulk CAN as shown in the comic pictures i showed under regenitive factor in my previous argument making The Hulk's Regeneration just as effective as that of the Enternals if not more because of the limitless potential he possess) The Hulk beat The Fantastic Four and The Avengers at the same time (with their armies), as well as silver surfer (in his weakeset form), Dr.Strange, has beaten Galactus. and could easily beat Tyrant (who's power matches that of Galactus).

Viewers please note the picture he depicted was Hulk at his weakest form and mindless

2nd: Weapons

Time Gem--The Hulk has been shown to be able to break Space/Time barriers with little as two punches. [Taken from Universe wiki]

Power Gem--The Hulk Has limitless Strength, durability, and can manipulate his Gamma radiation to protect himself, it is released every time he attacks (so even if he were to miss it would do damage or poisoning) cause radiation poisoning, and Destroy planets.

Soul Gem--Due to the Multiple souls working togther (and trapped) within Green Scar I do not think that the Soul gem would have no more effect than the Mind Gem.

Reality Gem--Hulk Has shown to somehow resist Reality changers such as The Wishing Well in the Ramage of world which was a source of uncalcuable power as well as

Mind Gem-- Resistance to Psychic Control: Professer X attempted to slow down the angered Hulk with intense power; however, the Hulk proved to be resistant to the Professor's psionic effects. In many instances and occasions, the Hulk has demonstrated great psychic resistance as side-effect of his rage and the multiple personalities inside his mind. Bruce Banner could most likely Think one thing That Thanos would pick up and then Hulk do another this pair up could greatly confuse Thanos.

The Infinity Gauntlet in itself is a Cosmic Power/Source The Green Scar has been depicted more than once to be strong enough to not only handle Beams of Cosmic energies but when focused can Absorb them quite like he could Radiation limited to his Rage.

Now since my opponent is armed with The Infinity Gauntlet and did not specify that the Hulk could not use a weapon (come on its only fair) I have choosed the Anti-Matter Gun shown when fighting the Moloids. One of the ways Gamma Radiation is Created is when particles of Anti-matter or Anti-Particles collide with regular particles so the Hulk Could not only do immense damage that is unblockable (Thanos has never been depicted to be able to control Anti-Matter) by shooting it but also Absorb the Gamma radiation that comes off the blast And increase his ablilities even more so that each time his abilities esclate they escilate at a greater speed.

as well as the Teleporter That Bruce Banner had created

Also Just to Clarify and Please post back on this in your next argument We are taking into account all strengths and thus also weaknessess into account in this debate.

Debate Round No. 3

Again a lot of what you saying happend with different versions of the Hulk and not the one that we are talking about today so most of those points don't come into effect in this debate. All of what I am saying is true about Thanos, Thanos has a way better intelligence level than the hulk and his strength is crazy with the Infinity Gaunlet it is amazing Hulk can't compare to Thanos pure power.

3rd: Intelligence
Superhuman Intelligence: Possibly Thanos' most dangerous ability is his mind. Thanos' intellect is dedicated to enhancing his own powers and to the annihilation of all life. Thanos is a genius in virtually all known fields of advanced science and has created technology far exceeding contemporary Earth science. His intellect surpasses Earth's greatest minds, Reed Richards and Doctor Doom.

Energy Manipulation/Control: Thanos has displayed great versatility in the use of his energy projection abilities. He has demonstrated the ability to project pure energy as a concussive force, gamma radiation bursts, infrared heat-beams from his eyes, and disruptor beams, as well as form vastly strong shields, barriers, force-fields. The exact extent of Thanos' energy projection abilities are unknown, but a single eye-blast has been capable of rendering the Thing unconscious and knocking down the likes of Thor. His blasts are so strong and powerful he has been able to easily destroy planets and release In-Betweener from his prison created by Master Order and Lord Chaos. It has been speculated that the nature of Thanos' cosmic energy reserve may be quasi-mystical in nature.

Thanos possesses vast psionic abilities. His mind is invulnerable to most forms of psychic attack. So far Thanos has demonstrated the ability to project blasts of psionic energy, as well as being able to shut down another being's mind and can communicate telepathically with most if not all beings.

Matter Manipulation & Control:
Thanos has demonstrated the ability to manipulate matter on the atomic level similar to other Earthborn Eternals. On one occasion, he turned the Skrull, Skragg into stone.

Teleportation: Thanos can teleport himself across unknown distances under his own power in the same manner that most Earthborn Eternals can. It is likely that Thanos, like most Earthborn Eternals find the process unpleasant and instead, prefers to use teleportation technology.

Thanos over powers Hulk in almost every situation his power is crazy.

This is how you would treat your Lord Almighty? You would challenge the heavens so brazenly?! So be it then! Let there be war!

I hold the Galaxy in my Palm - ready to crush it like an Eggshell! All who oppose me must die - and the first of these are the Earthian Heroes! Destroy them - with all dispatch!

LOL you both don't know one tiny detail about Thanos that leads to his continual downfall.

Balls, didn't even read the first round. Hulk is f*cked.

The Infinity Gauntlet isn't intrinsically linked to Thanos's character, though. However, I agree that Con has no chance if Pro knows his Cosmic Marvel.
Posted by Maikuru 4 years ago
Thanos with the Infinite Gauntlet destroyed nearly an entire universe. I like Hulk and all but...I don't think so lol.
