Con

Documentaries should not only report the facts
James.ticknor

Pro

Documentaries are about a factual place, person, event, culture, tradition, etc.

If I do not recieve facts about it, what do I really know about it other than someone's personal opinion? I watch a documentary to learn, not to broaden my social view.

My opponent thinks that they should not just represent facts, but personal opinions as well.

If I hosted a documentary on my school, I would say bad things about it as my personal opinion. That is slander and if that is possible to do in a documentary, it's immoral. Not only that, but if I only told facts, I could inform the viewer and allow them to form their own opinion without imposing or influencing them with my own.

Good luck.

My opponent failed to refute any of my points. So, I can only assume that he accepts them.

Although Pro's arguments were pretty bad, Con completely failed to refute them. Arguments, S&G and Conduct goes to PRO. (Con did not end a sentence with a period.)

I feel safe, it's just that if he doesn't let me know before it starts, it's his fault.

I'd feel safer accepting if I knew what CON was proposing should be included in documentaries.
