This is a debate on the Greatest Grunge Rock Songs of All Time!

Grunge Rock consists of, but is not limited to, these bands...

Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Sound Garden, Days of the New, Silver Chair, Nirvana, Temple of the Dog, etc.

Each round will consist of one song posting.

It is your choice to comment on your rival's song choices or not.

It is also your choice to explain why you chose the song you chose or not.

Let the show begin!

I will begin by posting one of my favorite Grunge Rock songs...

Artist - Stone Temple Pilots

Song - Plush

Artist- Soundgarden
Sonf- Pretty Noose
Debate Round No. 1

Chris Cornell is awesome and he is definitely one of my favorite grunge style vocalists.

Artist - Audioslave

Song - I am the highway

Obviously no debate on the best grunge songs would be complete without Nirvana.
Band- Nirvana
Song- Territorial Pissings
Debate Round No. 2

I agree, so I will match you a Nirvana song.

Artist - Nirvana

Song - Come as you are

Another Nirvana song? Not too original are you? Anyways, sorry for the poor quality but there are lke no videos for this song.
Band-The Melvins
Debate Round No. 3

I would like to remind my opponent that this is a debate about the greatest grunge rock songs of all time, not the most original. With that being said I move on to my next choice...

Artist - Alice in Chains

Song - Man in a box

No joke I almost picked that song for my last round. I hope my decision not to doesn't come back to haunt me! Anyways you're right. I am just hesitant to post multiple songs from the same artist because I got docked points for that in a previous debate even though it wasn't in the rules.
Band- Temple of the Dog
Song-Hunger Strike
Debate Round No. 4

Dude you picked one of my favorite songs of all time... Temple of the Dog kicks a$$ in that song!

And I wouldn't want voters to dock for the posting of the same artist, as any fan of the genre knows, there isn't a huge number of great bands in the genre to choose from. But the bands that are there kick a$$ hands down.

On to my last and final choice! I picked this song because I don't know a single person that doesn't like this song and it is one of my favorites. I picked the live version of this music video because I feel it gives a glimpse into what the grunge era was really like in it's prime... When I was a teenager. When rock music ROCKED!

Artist - Pearl Jam

Song - Even Flow

This debate would obviously not be complete without the greatest grunge band ever!
Band- Mudhoney
Song- Touch Me I'm Sick

Reasons for voting decision: For me, this debate really came down to "Territorial Pissings" by Nirvana, and "Man in a box" by Alice in chains. Unfortunatly for Pro, Ive always been sort of a Nirvana kinda guy, and thus vote Con.
