Pro

The BoP should always be assumed by the challenger. Innocence until proven guilty. Bring it!
SM2

Con

"The BoP should always be assumed by the challenger."

BOP?

Pro

I am an American and innocent until proven guilty, right, butter ball bear? Prove me guilty now. Easy win for the status quo. Congrats.
SM2

Con

You're the challenger, so you have BOP. Isn't that your argument?

Not sure what being American has to do with it.

Pro

The question was the Burden of Proof. Big B. small o. Big P. What is BOP? tell us. please.
SM2

Con

It means the same thing. Quit stalling and fulfill your obligations as challenger.

Pro

You challenged me. I am the instigator. Check your bible of Webster, you'll see. Whatever you say, status quo donkey.
SM2

Con

The challenger is the person who posted the debate. That's why other people's new debates have an "Accept Challenge" button. You challenged, I accepted, and now you have to meet BOP. If you don't, then you concede your argument that the challenger must meet BOP.

Also, I object to you calling me a "grizzly bitch" in the comments section. That is a clear case of misconduct.

Pro

I made a statement, you challenged it. Sorry I do not play by the rules you worship. Proving me wrong is clearly something you are incapable of, as you are a watch dog of the status quo.
SM2

Con

Pro should familiarize himself with the definition of "challenge".

https://en.wiktionary.org...

And with "burden of proof", since he's failed to meet it (unsurprisingly; the debate is impossible to prove).

https://en.wikipedia.org...

And also with manners, since he lacks any.

We now proceed to voting. Thank you everybody for your patience.

@ Max.Wallace

That is the most ignorant comment you have made thus far.

You are the status quo morons that allowed Islam to immigrate freely and play their games in France. You will never learn, atheists. You cannot differentiate between good and evil. This is a typical moronic democracy.

@ Max.Wallace

It was probably an accidental double-post. Happens all the time. Not a big deal.

DDO just messaged me that Cobalt voted twice on this nonsense. That's the truth.

You're wrong, the burden of proof is on the one making the statement. That is innocent until proven guilty.

Reasons for voting decision: Conduct: Con -- Pro made nasty comments about Con in the debate and in the comment section. ("donkey" and "grizzly bitch") S&G: Basically equal. Questionable Grammar on Pro's side, but not enough to award a point to the opposition. Sources: Con, for last round sources and for relevant DDO based source regarding the "Accept Challenge" button. Arguments: Con made an excellent point that DDO clearly implies Con is accepting the challenge of Pro (who is, thus, the challenger). Since Pro is the challenger, his argument is self defeating as he argued the challenger (himself) has BoP, but did not prove anything. Not a good debate, but SM2's patience and civility is appreciated by this voter.
