The Health of the Planet is more important than a Human Life

Global warming, extinction of species, melting poles, rising sea levels....what all this means is that people will and must die from (starvation, denial of liberty, etc.) I am PRO that the world is saying that a human life is worth less than the conservation efforts to save a rock. I am saying and PRO for scientific conservation of old fossils and tree species and mountains of people must die to keep our planet safe...the people need to rescue the Earth and we need to TAX everyone and kill off the surplus so the planet can survive. Any "greenies" care to respond?

Human life is more important; we make the earth go round basically. Without the human race there would be no new discoveries about the earth. Henceforth, leaving the Earth to be just another planet. Of course, we may mess it up but human life is more important.

It is evident that humans are a resource hungry virus that spread and multiply until theres nothing left (or at least the human activity of business and commerce and mindless consumption is) ...it is very true that huimans will keep going until theres nothing left...until the planet is a bare shell and the small elite will somehow escape on to interstellar occupations while the rest will die from the asphixiation of our own devices.

If you look at our sparkling blue bauble against the inky black sky...and compare it to all the other dead planets of rock, ice and gas, we notice the planet itself is what is valuable and we are not the only life form on this planet.

Just because we have "reason" does not necessarily make us more valuable...perhaps the dolphins or the cockroaches may be the survivors

Well you don't know the future, you only know the present and the past. Eventually, if not soon enough, humans will realize that we are stripping our earth raw. Not to mention, technology is rapidly advancing and I do think that we will find alternative sources to keep our earth from becoming barren. I will admit humans do have dumb moments, but we are smart enough to realize this. I know we are are more important than what planet we are living on.

Anti ways at the problem at hand, we humans are more important, because if you think about what great achievements have we done for the Earth. I feel like you don't understand completely that good citizens ARE preserving our Earth. Of course we mess it up, um..... hello we are human, but we find a way to fix it so.........
