Some people after reading parts of the Koran think they see contradictions or things they don't understand. I assure that everything is how it should be.

The Koran says that Allah is non-physical and that he controls all knows all, that he made all and that he foresees all that is to come.

It then says that it is possible to sin and be sent to hell, as if we have free will.

Tell me: How can an all knowing, all-powerful creator of everything possibly not have controlled and created our subjective decision making processes meaning that if we choose to sin then it is Allah's fault to begin with?

Tell me: How can Allah be both non-physical and yet be a 'he'

The Koran also states that humans have souls but chimpanzees do not due to our ability to choose right form wrong. What about the mentally retarded, or those who suffer form down's syndrome? They are unable to make decisions as efficiently as the average chimp, so should we say they have no souls? If so, not all humans have souls, if not non-human creatures must have souls.

Convert to Deism my friend.

First things first, Arabic was created much before English and god is only called "he" in the sense that its the closest translation of referral to god (not perfect, but relatively close in terms of representation).

Moving on, Allah is "all knowing" but in the Koran, Allah explained the difference between humans and angels and that was that humans have the freedom to do whatever they please. Now try to understand, it's like a fortune teller telling you what is going to happen tomorrow. The next day, everything they said actually happened. There is a subtle difference between knowledge and control and the sooner you understand, the better.

About the mentally retarded, there is a HUGE difference between having a soul and having efficient decision making skills.
Part of having a soul is having compassion for a fellow human being and you appearing not to be diagnosed with down syndrome aren't at a reliable perspective to argue from that point of view. Furthermore, do not get "having a soul" and "decision making" mixed up.

In case you have any other staments, let me clear this up for you.

The arabic in the koran sometimes has synonyms which may confuse you. That aside, when god says you go to hell for an etirnity. Lets remember that time here isn't the same as time there. Our day is 24hrs due to the earths rotation. Heaven or hell is not a planet so different concepts entirly. The Koran has synonyms and metaphores as does Shakespears plays. We must think with a greater depth than that we do for shakespear.

When you think you see a contradiction in the Koran, that doesn't mean theres a problem, it only means that it requires more understanding and analysis.

Even to this day, other religious scholars have not been able to be find a contradictory problem in the Koran's text which is why Islam is existing today.

The problem is not in the contradiction (which is our debate topic) but the belief aspect and because of that, there is still controversy.

In conclusion, contraction is not a problem.

The Bible isn't? The Torah isn't? All religious books have contradictions, and the Qu'ran is no exception.
