Con

My opponent takes the position that the Ontological Argument is proof for the existence of God and assumes the burden of proof.

I will assume the Con position.

Rounds will work as follows:
R1. Acceptance and state Ontological Argument.
R2. Arguments and rebuttals.
R3. Arguments and rebuttals.
R4. Rebuttals and conclusion.

I'm sorry. I accepted this debate too quickly and thought that I would be arguing as Con.

Vote Con.

I think I'll just ask Philochristos to counter the point.

Yeah, I'm fine with it.

But you have the BOV (burden of vote?)

Whatever you need to do :)

So you're okay with tying it? If so, then either Typhlochactas needs to withdraw his vote or someone needs to counter it. As far as I'm aware, there's no button you press to make that happen.

I'm fine with that, it's not a as big a deal as I seemed to be telling myself :)

How do I do that, I can't find the option.

So, what do you think?

I don't know, but Philochristos suggested it.

I'm not totally opposed to tying it but I was looking forward to having my first win.

I don't particularly deserve a tie (nor do I deserve a win) but I was completely expecting to win this one until you jacked it all up!

:)

I don't know, tell me why we should tie?
