Since American troops were first deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq, more than 2.6 million veterans have returned to a country largely unprepared to meet their needs. Our government has failed on many levels to fulfill its obligations to these heroes as demanded by Congress and promised by both Democratic and Republican administrations. Many of these veterans returned from war with lifelong illnesses and disabilities and were struggling to get the help they were promised: disability payments, jobs, health care and treatment, brain injuries, and physical disabilities.

In order to establish my position as con i would first like to state the inability to define the 1) cost of disability payments and the effect this would have on the overall economy, both the U.S economy and the global economy, the 2) Jobs : how are we supposed to just put these veterans in jobs? Would we be replacing jobs already owned, and what jobs do the veterans qualify to have. 3) Health Care, which is a silly arguement as our country already is undergoing horrible health care situations so in order for this plan to actually work you would first need to restablish a new health care in which i will discuss below. 4/5/6) All medical things you ask for. We would need extra hospital space and for those with the inability to be helped medically, how can we possibly begin to help them? We would need extra money and extra time and effort put towards the millions of veterans time and money that we dont have.

Now, lets specifcally address Health Care. In order to establish a new health care you would need to go through Obama who already has a failing Obama care that people (specifcally iowa) are against. He will not be able to even begin to pass a new health care system with the already limited Politcal Capital that he has.

Im assuming that in order for you to actually solve and make a valid ending arguement you will have to win each and everyone of your so called "promised help" and in which you cant begin to solve for health care and even disability payments sense you dont specify how much or where the money would come from your left with the inability to increase jobs that dont exist in the status quo, and the medical reasons that, even if you could solve, wont ever end up curing 100% of the people.

I would love to debate you, but your age and iq are much lower then mine, but ill post up a comment proving you wrong with a few words......ahem, I am an active duty army seviceman, and my past is nothing but a history of military, so mark my words when I say that when a vetran is NOT getting benifits, its for a really good reason, and ill throw up a small list.
first, if you ets out of the service without claiming a disability, second if you ets out of the service without retiring, third if you where chaptered out of the service due to UCMJ action, so on and so on and so on, the only time you get something from the army is if you CLAIMED a disability that happened to them in the army, and where properly chaptered out.
