I've never heard of such a thing! What is a Water Bear?

A species that can survive the most extreme of conditions. Extreme temperatures 100s of degrees above and below zero. They can even survive in the vacuum of outer space! They were sent into space for 10 days unprotected from solar radiation and the vacuum of space for 10 days. They have been around for around 500 million years!! That means that they have survived every single extinction event.. Tardigrades AKA Water Bears AKA toughest species known to man!

So it's a parasite? Well, I doubt it could survive without oxygen. Every living thing needs oxygen (plants use carbon dioxide).

It survived in the vacuum of space, there really isn't any oxygen there.

Probably, but if we sent the tardigrades there, they could survive. I doubt you would find them in the desert because there's almost no water there.

Yes, they are the best at survival. Scientists have frozen them, boiled them, put them under intense pressure, and put them into space-like conditions. They survive because they excrete a substance from their skin which, when hardened, turns into something like a super-glass shield. Scientists are trying to harness this power to make the strongest glass ever!

You're essentially tying to debate a truism.
