The world has changed so much culturally in the past decade or two and one of the things that has changed is i believe our sensitivity to topics shown in entertainment, I believe that what and what is not taboo has drastically changed in the past two decades. A recent example would be the Starbucks Red Cup controversy in which multiple people claim the company Starbucks is supposedly showing anti christian behavior by removing a reindeer off of a cup. Their reasoning? The reindeer represents Christmas which was the day Jesus Christ was born by removing the reindeer they are "worshiping Satan" this would never have happened in the past as multiple businesses have gotten away with far worse then that.

First of all I think the world hasn't become to sensitive I as a native american don't care about racial slurs or stupid red cups; because down here in texas we love our guns ,we hang with any race we like . We may be a bunch a awesome austin weird people but were loving and caring people and we aren't sensitive at all.

When i went to Austin Texas i sure you bet i saw some nice people but mostly i was treated like a trash from restaurants to taxi drivers because of my ethnicity. so saying that all of Texas is a super nice melting pot would be incredibly incorrect and is a super generalization.

I'm sure you don't care about a red cup and neither do i but there are many who do. there's a new movement going on where people go to star bucks and say their name is merry Christmas just so they can have it their way.

back then there would be no large outcry over a cup and there. now a days cartoon cant even casually for no reason whatsoever name a race. not in a slur or demeaning way but in simple just saying kind of way. When Star Wars:The Phantom Menace was released people were saying Jar Jar BInks was a racial stereotype. why? Because the man doing the motion capture was African american

This is so beyond true. The unfortunate truth really is that people are becoming too sensitive to the most ridicules of things!
