Ok so I have been waiting for an argument for a bit now. But now I shall produce a short an sweet argument.

Linear- progressing from one stage to another in a single series of steps; sequential.

By this definition, I would assume my opponent wanted to point out, that not the game zelda itself is linear, but instead the franchise timeline is linear, meaning that from the first game to the last, the timeline is known to be straight.

I did a little research, the game a link between worlds, which was released in 2013, places itself on the official timline, BEFORE the original legend of Zelda. http://www.zeldadungeon.net...

From this information I have gathered, it proves that not only does the zelda timeline run in loops, but also backtracks on itself a few times over.

Reasons for voting decision: Linkish made some argument, which is more convincing than no argument. Also, he forfeited less, which constitutes better conduct. I think Gaming Debater probably could have won this; I seem to recall a book released recently which chronicles the Zelda universe timeline from start to finish was released by Nintendo, so that source alone would have won him this debate.
