*This debate is in regards to the first video entitled "JK Wedding Entrance Dance". In regards to the second video entitled "Amanda Show - Judge Trudy from the first episode!" see below.

*Note- the video is real, it is an actual wedding ceremony. It is not for a movie or a commercial.

I am Pro. If the voter smiles during the video, default 7 points to Pro.

My opponent is Con. If the voter does not smile during the video, default 7 points to Con.

*NO SEMANTICS. If you do, your body will immediately vanquish and you will spend the next 6,969 years in Azkaban. Yes, Azkaban, the Harry Potter prison with dementors and what-not. And demontors will suck the soul out of your body, so you don't want that. Also, all 7 points will be defaulted to Pro. So use semantics sparingly, because you now know the consequences. MUAHAAHAH.

==========

I know I smiled the whole way through the video. The wedding celebration is just out of the ordinary and very happy the whole way through. Almost everybody in the YouTube "Comments" section loved it and so did everyone attending the ceremony. If you don't smile, I can only conclude that you are either:
A) My opponent
B) A slack job daffodil
C) Hitler
D) All of the above

If you are normal, vote for me, Pro. If you are my opponent, a slack job daffodil, or Hitler, vote for Con.

Court dismissed. Bring in the dancing lobsters. (See second video at 3:07)

My opponent's possible reasons for not smiling at the video are rude, inconsiderate, and wrong.

I did not smile while watching the video. Just a note–this does not mean I did not enjoy it. However:

1. I usually don't smile when I'm just sitting on my own, watching in a video. There's not much point in an outward display of emotion. It's all in the mind.
2. The most interesting part of the video to me was the song. I can listen to the song while browsing around the site. I was not actually watching the video; however, this is still "during the video."

Why others may not smile:

1. Same reason as my #1.
2. Same reason as my #2. Many people are on Debate.org to take part in its interesting debates and forums; thus, they could quickly lose interest in a LONG (5:00+) video.
3. Wedding ceremonies are not happy for everyone. With increasing divorce rates, nearly 50% of children have parents who have gone through a divorce. [1] A video with a wedding ceremony conjures extremely unhappy memories of this person's parents' unhappy marriage.
4. Some may just not find it very interesting. One does not have to find enough joy to smile outwardly to oneself just by seeing a video of two random people marrying.
5. Some may be offended. For example, a devout believer in the "sanctity of marriage" may see this ceremony as too informal for creating a lifelong bond in the eyes of a God.

Conclusion: There are many reasons not to smile at the video. People generally just might not smile while sitting alone at a computer, watching a video, even if it is pleasant. Some might get distracted by the very interesting aspects of Debate.org. Others may get upset at wedding ceremonies in general, and would probably be very distressed by Nags's insensitive comments regarding those who may not smile at the video.

You have a point there. Sadly, I cannot change to neutral. At least, I don't think I can.

There had been about 1 debate challenge in the past two days, so I decided to spice it up a bit. And people are interested. 15 votes is a lot more than most other debates.

Yeah, I sort of accepted with the intention of actually having a debate, which perhaps I should not have done.
