The death penalty should be abolished due to the fact that innocent people loose their lives as well as the criminals. For example this has been proved in the case of Claude Jones and Troy Davis. Even though evidence against them was inconclusive they were still condemned to their mortifying death by a "so called' witness. http://www.innocenceproject.org...

I accept.

I think we should keep the death penalty. Say for example, one does something bad, like a murder, and they get caught, they shouldnt spend time in jail. If they get released what could they do. Commit another crime. If we kill them then what can they do. Nothing, cause they are dead. They should also pay the price of the crime, like an eye for an eye.

Reasons for voting decision: Pro completely left the debate forfeiting all to the con. Source wise though ive extensively researched the Davis execution and Pro found one article arguing for his innocence out of the first 7 results on google..... Debate goes to Con

Reasons for voting decision: Pro at least provided an argument.(somewhat) Con's argument is a fallacy. Pro and Con forfeited rounds. I'll give spelling and grammar to Pro. Con spelled "dumb" and "was" wrong. Grats Pro... I guess.
