The destruction of Nagasaki in 1945 was unnecessary and uncalled for, and definately didn't win WW2

First round for acceptance only, any arguments are not to be counted.
Second and third rounds are an all out brawl of words, only accept if you know you are going to carry on arguing.
I am arguing that the US government was wrong to demolish Nagasaki, especially so soon after Hiroshima.
I am also arguing that it was mainly the actions of Soviet Russia that won the Second World War.

I assert that there's no "a" in "definitely."
You people need to learn how to posit a topic correctly.
Nagasaki was NOT destroyed according to the definition of the word. They missed their target and only one-third of the city was destroyed.

That isn't the point,

Supposedly the US used the bomb on a military target. The reality is, Nagasaki was chosen not because there was a weapons plant nearby, but because it was a highly populated city.

The site was chosen to showcase the full destructive power that the US had available. This was unnecessary and in the end, a bloodthirsty act of terrorism.

In the end, reports have shown that Nagasaki wasn't given a chance to surrender, in fact the news of Hiroshima hadn't arrived in Tokyo yet.

You wouldn't have if I had seen this debate sooner. Did that guy really accept just to correct a spelling error and then abandon the whole debate? WTF?!
