The events of 9-11, the terrorist attacks, were an inside job.

9-11 was an inside job. Members of an organisation inside the American government, linked to the Military industrial complex, orchestrated the events of 9-11. This was an excuse to gain support for a profitable war, and an excuse to implement social controls that are easier to bring about in a state of panic and war.

Since this is a pretty big accusation, I'm assuming that the burden of proof is on Pro.

I don't really have anything to add, since the burden of proof is on pro. He could still salvage a little dignity if he submitted an argument.

If you're going to make a claim as slanderous and as outrageous as the one you're making, at least provide some arguments for it, otherwise you sound like a homeless alcoholic wearing a sandwich board about chemtrails.

The thing is, there are load of conspiracy nuts going about claiming this, and because of that, nobody believes them. If there weren't loads of them, and just some who knew "the truth", people would listen to them. Therefore, the government MUST have employed hundreds upon thousands of people to make ludicrous theories, so that the ones who truly knew "the truth" would be automatically ignored and discredited by power of association.

"9/11 was an inside job" was an inside job!

Pro, you've presented yor claim, now show why it's true with evidence. That's the point of a debate.

Yes, indeed it is.

3 trillion of who's money? Ours, the tax payer. Who did we pay? Weapons companies that have ties with the members of government who orchestrated it, so both the company and the individual members of government get financially rewarded.

As for the deaths, there just collateral.

"This was an excuse to gain support for a profitable war"
I suppose 3 trillion dollars and 1,800 deaths is a "profit" then?

"Conspiracy theories are so annoying"- Is that all?

I don't know why it's so hard to believe, why else would there be so much secrecy behind the events? Why no evidence of a plane at the pentagon? Why not? Ask yourselves, why not? Why wouldn't they do it? We know that justice and fairness is not important when profit is involved, anybody who looks inches deeper than the news reports etc that is, so why wouldn't they do it when the benefits where so great?
