Illegal immigration is just what it says "Illegal". In today's world national security is a priority. If America would just allow people to migrate into this country with-out knowing their agenda, we would be subject to dealing with terrorism on the home front again (let us not forget 9-11)

okay i agree with that but every thing is targeted at hispanic immigrants... last time i checked there is also asian, african, canadien, and even european immigrants. if the government should be concentrating on the general welfare not on foreign policy

I concur the general welfare of all mankind should be taken into serious consideration. Mexicans and Mexican Americans are a vital part of the social tread that creates our societies. Latinos have become the largest minority in America. Unfortunately America is not very liked through out the world and many people want to destroy what we take for granted everyday. Many people want to take away from us the very reason Mexicans are crossing our borders...our freedom. (I use the term freedom loosely, but that is another debate.)It is important for all America no matter what your heritage, race, or country of origin, to be aware of ways that terrorist can get into our country undetected. The border is one huge red flag when it comes to security.

the problems are that fingers are being pointed at the wrong direction!!!! I actually go as far as comparing this to Nazi Germany!!! Nazi's blamed Jews for their economic troubles. Now we have people blaming illegal immigrants, the majority hispanics for our economic troubles. I do agree illgal immigration is a problem but there has to be a simpler solution. Our government needs to act instead of pointing fingers. Our economic problem is not immigration's fault. It is ours. We have not done enough for country. So everyone nheeds a scapegoat for this and that would be illgals.. before 2005 there was no problems right???? if anything, illegals cant claim any paid taxes... Trust me they have no tax rights and most of them overpay taxes

Olympian,

It is a fact that most illegal congregate and cross at the southern border. Wouldn't it make more sense for these areas to be targeted. If the U.S. can be sued because an illegal feels he is being picked on because he is part of the group that makes up the majority of illegals shoot me now. That is bullsh*t. An ILLEGAL immigrant has no right to be in this country in the first place, much less take money from OUR goverment.

have you seen any immigration action in any northern areas. all ive seen is I.C.E. activity in southern states. You Can't tell me im using that card too much because its not enough. here in california thee is alot of primarly asian communities. like i said, i support a reform but it just cant be aimed at hispanic illegals. that is actually discrimination. and as a matter of fact, our government can actually get sued

Olympian,

Hispanic immigrants are targeted more often because they are they bulk of illegal immigrants. Do not play this overly used "card" when it is not needed.

Maybe if it was 10% of Japan's citizens living here instead of Mexico's you would see asians being "targeted".
