In the modern society internet is used almost daily. The internet may be a useful tool but if misused it will harm the society. A lot of people may think that the internet is very useful and there are no harms included, but in fact the internet is harmful. This is basically because of threats of pop-ups, pornography and scams that can trick other people. The Internet is not only an unsafe place for children, but also a bad influence to young teenagers. Pornography from the Internet is leading to the rise of a society of perverts, paedophiles and freaks, who are unable to contain their sexual desires. Hence the internet brings more harm than good.

I do not agree that internet brings more harm than good. It is because internet in the society now helps people a lot in terms of business or school work. We can do research on internet official websites and save a lot of time. In business, we can set up shops at a low cost. People can also communicate better. Internet also helps to relieve stress and download music, movie and dramas for free.

Even said so , the internet is still harmful as it is a threat to our privacy. Networking sites like facebook , twitter, instagram are sites that require our personal information . Personal information are as listed , address , phone number , bank or credit card account number, family information , location and more. If people were to obtain these information , for example phone number people can make up a lie and threatened the person to pay a ransom or else they will reveal a secret or whatever . hence the internet is brings more harm than good .

Even without internet, people are still able to get your phone number and threatened if they wanted to. It"s true that it"s a threat to our privacy but if we are careful of what we put online there should not be people making up lies and threatened the person. People also normally put fake information for others in case of being targeted. I think networking also helps to share to others about your life or what you have been doing to others that u may know. You can also share your joy to others by doing so and at time same time we can also keep track of what others is doing. Hence, the internet does not bring more harm than good.

Many people are just addicted to the internet. They can"t stop browsing, they are hooked on gaming and they spend too much time indoors. Instead of going out for a walk or play outside, they sit behind their computers for hours. A sad consequence of the addiction is that they are so used to high speed information by just clicking on the next link that they can no longer appreciate a good book, or a nice conversation with a friend. By failing to take exercise they grow fat and unhealthy. Their family life suffers and their only relationships are online " they can"t cope in the real world.

Addiction of games only happen to some people most people would know how to spend their time wisely and sometimes people play games as a form of relieving their stress. if one does not relieve stress it may lead to depression. Even if one is addicted to gaming, their family members will stop them and parents most likely will control the children of playing game and will ask them to read more books and revising for test and stuff.
