Contracts that put health of celebrities to risk must be changed, in order to accommodate the celebrities better for the future. Because lack of health protection on contracts forces the individuals to die faster - these type of statements written on the contracts seem as a slow method of killing people. Given that there are many celebrities with chronic illnesses, such as : Halle Berry, Kim Kardashian, Nick Cannon, Bret Michaels and Jillian Michaels. Thus, the media industry proving that it does not take the responsibility to protect the individuals in Hollywood.

Celebrities are normal people, they can get diseases just like us. They can get sick, just like us. Importantly, they can make their own decisions. Just like us. These celebrities you named aren't exactly short on cash.

If they chose to do so they could get the best healthcare in the world, however their choices about their own health is their choice alone. Forcing this choice upon them is pointless and ridiculous because it's treating celebrities like they are different than the rest of us. Therefore, we should treat celebrities just like a regular person.

Because celebrities are just like anyone else they really aren't any more important than us and we shouldn't go to extra measures to preserve their health because of their status.

Therefore changing their contracts for the health is not needed and outright unnessasary.

Unfortunetly my opponent has forfeited the second round.

So my opponent claims that Hollywood should protect celebrities from the illnesses they have, however the fact of the matter is that many of the diseases they have are not cureable and the celebrities are taking the availalbe treatments. If the celebrity choses to not take that treatment and does not live a healthy life why should we make them.

Who are we to say that how those people can and can't live? We simply are in no position to make their life choices for them.

Next, these celebrities are people just like the rest of us so why should we treat them any different? We should give them the option to healthcare which we do and whether they take the option or not is their choice.
