This is what laws should turn into:
'Whatever you do to other person should happen to you'

So basically if you murder; you will be murdered.
If you steal money; you will be confiscated the same amount of money.
But only for serious crimes like adultery , murder, theft etc.

My opponent should present why current laws should not change into ones I have presented.
I am waiting for your response.

ROUND1:Accepting debate,presenting your first point.
ROUND2:More statements and points.
ROUND3:Conclusion.

I thank my opponent for an interesting debate. Given 1000 characters, I will provide only one point, as requested.

-con case-

1) Not everything "serious" is reciprocable, in terms of effect.

My opponent's case is only regarding "serious" crimes, but he fails to define "serious". I define serious as "of grave or somber disposition, character, or manner" [1]

Given the definition of serious, let's identify a "serious" crime or two. I choose adultery and rape.

As for the first, to reciprocate the effect of adultery we need to analyze the situation. The adulterers are both happy. To punish adultery, you would need to make them not happy; making the adulterers have sex would probably not teach them a lesson about not having sex.

As for rape, the rapist is relatively "happy" while the victim is sad. If the rapist happens to be kinky, I contend that he would enjoy being raped. Thus, the law proposed will fail to be effective.

Ahem. I have a question!
When you (being rob force) say that "So basically if you murder; you will be murdered.
If you steal money; you will be confiscated the same amount of money."
WHO will murder you?
WHO will confiscate you of that money?
You see, this would turn he world into a turmoil. So please tell me who would deal out this "justice." I am quite curious.

So, if I forcibly have sex with several beautiful women, then I would be forced to have sex with other beautiful women?
